SBM’s Heavy Duty Belt conveyors are general purpose. Belt Conveyor is the essential and economical transferring set in the uninterrupted production line. In terms of transferring capacity, belt conveyor can be classified into two types, the heavy type such as for mining convey and the light type for plastic, food and chemical industry, etc.
SBM conveyor belts is adaptable to both stationary and mobile crushing plants, it is widely used in mining, metallurgical and coal industry to transfer sandy or lump materials, or packaged materials. Belt conveyor are designed primarily to convey light aggregate, coal, wood chips, sand and gravel, lime stone, crushed rock, slag, coke , cement rock, phosphate rock and most material weighing between 50 and 120 Ibs. per cubic foot that do not require high impact resistance.

Belt conveyor systems is consisting of a metal frame with rollers at either end of a flat metal bed. The belt is looped around each of the rollers and when one of the rollers is powered (by an electrical motor) the belting slides across the solid metal frame bed, moving the product. In heavy use applications the beds which the belting is pulled over are replaced with rollers. The rollers allow weight to be conveyed as they reduce the amount of friction generated from the heavier loading on the belting. Belt conveyors can now be manufactured with curved sections which use tapered rollers and curved belting to convey products around a corner.
